I've added some new pieces - few more in the 'Wish My Garden Looked Like This' series and a couple of newbies in the 'Moments in Nature'. I've always loved birds and am planning to do a whole series on them.
I've added 3 abstract pieces which are collaged from the remnants of other paintings and have therefore created their own new meaning. I enjoy the freedom of abstract art and the endless personal interpretations it can offer. Or it can offer simply an emotion. I personally feel very calm when I look at the abstract piece called Removing All Traces of Reality/1. There's something mysterious going in it too.
I've called the series 'Removing All Traces of Reality' having read a lovely quote by Picasso...
"There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality".
