Matisse

Where have those 8 weeks gone? My second home edder's art workshop came to an end and it was time to hand out certificates and all the amazing artwork that has been created over the last 2 months. I've so enjoyed working with this wonderful group of kids who have been really enthusiastic dedicated artists. It's been a lot of fun! We looked at Matisse and did some very simple sketches of faces in charcoal and pen. The challenge was to draw a face in 12 lines only. Then we looked at Matisse's Paper Cutouts and created some of our own. Lovely end to a lovely 2 months. Time to move on to 8 entirely new artists now...my next 2 workshops are fully booked. Am taking bookings for February 2016.
