Hundertwasser

The home edders looked at good old hippy Hundertwasser today and I learnt from one of the kids, who can speak a lot of German, that actually Hundertwasser means 'dog water' which made us all laugh quite a lot. As usual there was much mirth over the 'eyes' that appear in a lot of Hundertwasser's art and one of our faves, 'Big Hats That Wear You'. They were fascinated by the fact that Hundertwasser thought rulers were evil objects and preferred curvy, organic shapes. They loved his architecture and we all agreed that we'd like to live in one of his houses.
