Kngwarreye

Kids were impressed by Australia's most successful indigenous artist Emily Kngwarreye today. Impressed because she didn't actually start painting until she was 80. Never too old to start! We looked at aboriginal symbols and created some of our own (kids opted for TV and mobile phone symbols!) and then used cotton buds for our Kngwarreye dot paintings. A very dotty afternoon.
