Home Ed: George Seurat

This week was the last workshop in the latest art course and time to say goodbye to my lovely little artists. We finished with some Georges Seurat and a look at Pointillism. The kids were astonished that he spent 2 years on one painting and one lad asked if we were going to spend 2 years on our art! We worked only with cotton buds to create lots of dots (make sure all kids understand that it's not pointillism with bogies as some may be tempted to shove a cotton bud up their nose!) and it made for really chilled and relaxing workshops. The kids were engrossed in their dots.
