Romanticism

The mini artists looked at Romanticism. Painters during this time took their inspiration from nature and tried to capture how nature made them feel. We talked about The Wanderer Above the Sea and Fog by Caspar David Friedrich and Poppy was delighted recently when we realised that the original was in an art gallery that we visited in Hamburg. Always more exciting seeing it in real life!
