Tuesday art club: Delaunay

Time for some geometric art and a look at Sonia Delaunay (or as one little girl called her Denaughty). The kids first mixed colours to paint their backgrounds on the canvas and then using different sized lids, dipped in paints, they made circles. Then one girl suggested we add some lines so we got out the rulers and dipped them into paint too. Very satisfying! Once done, some kids digressed into hand printing and others devised little collaborative projects using pens and tape, which was great to watch.
