After School Club: Calder

Warm welcome to my students in new after school art club that started this week. We kicked off with Alexander Calder, inventor of the mobile (not the ones glued to people's hands!) and also creator of stabiles (static sculptures). Read a story all about 'Sandy's' life and then got busy twisting craft metal into shapes. One little lad bravely attempted to create an antelope and then turned it into a jailer's keys!
