After School Club: Morisot

Last workshops of 2016. The after school club looked at Berthe Morisot and we had a lovely session full of big smiles and chocolate biscuits. We looked at Impressionism and how different it was and at the way it captures light and movement. They all agreed that it was very beautiful even if you can't make everything out. Then the kids created Impressionist landscapes. Got them to think about blending colours and they added things from the 'texture pots' (poppy seeds, dried basil. salt etc) to the paints to create movement and texture in their art. Lovely.
