After School Club: Marimo Ragawa

Final session for the after schoolers and we spent it looking at manga. There's just something about those cute big heads and huge eyes that draws kids in. In particular, we focussed on Japanese artist Marimo Ragawa and we practised drawing 'eye shine' and our exploration into manga and anime led to Pokemon of course. There's over 700 Pokemon and some of these kids could probably name every single one of them! Been a great, fun group to work with. PS. Q: How do you get 500 pikachu on a bus? A: You pokemon.
