Self-Portraits: Flora Borsi

I recently discovered the inspiring self-taught photographer Flora Borsi and wanted to share her work with students. We looked at her self-portraits entitled Animeyed in which she incorporates different animals into her own face. The kids loved her! Working with a restricted colour palette meant that they practised making various shades of colours. They were also super impressed that she's still alive - she's only 21 in fact - because as one kid said "all artists are usually dead!" 😂
