Lowry

New art course started this week and we began the 8 weeks with good ole Lowry. The kids delighted in the fact that he became an artist because one day he missed his train. He went for a walk instead and came across those streets that encompass so much of his art. He was so moved by their beauty that he vowed to become an artist. We studied perspective and the kids created some fabulous industrialised landscapes with of course, some matchstick men and matchstick cats and dogs.
